Associate Professor Ela Ayse Koksal from Niide Omer Halismir University in Turkey was invited as Visiting specialist to Ualikanov University from April 3 to April 14, 2023. Dr. Koksal accomplished her PhD degree at Middle East Technical University and further advanced her academic pursuits through a postdoctoral program at King's College in London (UK). Dr. Ela Ayse Koksal is the founder of the scientific project "Use and Effectiveness of Educational Games in Teaching General Chemistry." Her research potential is evident through her publications in international scientific databases, including SCI-, SCI, SCOPUS, WOS, EBSCO, HW Wilson, ERIHPLUS, and TR Dizin. Dr. Ela Ayshe Koksal was invited to the department of "Social and Age Pedagogy" to deliver lectures on the topic of "Theory and Practice of Science Education of Young Children". The collaborative engagement with professor Ela Ayse Koksal proved to be highly fruitful, as the faculty of "Social and Developmental Pedagogy" seized the opportunity to participate in a certificate training course on "Teacher Professional Development" at Niide Omer Halismir University in Turkey. This valuable experience promises to further enhance the research capabilities and expertise of the faculty.
