Aina Askeroglu Arsla was awarded PhD in History from Istanbul University. She currently holds a position of Associate Professor at Istanbul University's Institute of Turkic Studies. Dr. Aina Askeroglu Arslan is a member of the editorial board of AVID (Avrasia Incemeleri Dergisi), the journal of Eurasian Inquiries. Dr. Askeroglu Arslan is an author of numerous scientific publications in Scopus and WOS databases. Her specialization lies in the field of Turkic Studies, including Religion, History, and Culture. Dr. Arslan was invited as a Visiting specialist to the “Department of History of Kazakhstan and Rukhani Zhanqyru” at Ualikanov University, between April 10 - 20, 2023. During her tenure as a visiting specialist, Dr. Aina Askeroglu Arslan delivered lectures on disciplines such as "Current Problems of Historical Research" and "Islam and Politics in the Modern World." Moreover, she actively participated in a scientific and practical conference "Month of Science" organized and conducted by the teacher of the “Department of History of Kazakhstan and "Rukhani Zhangyru" K.Kanitaeva.
