Visit of the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Shokan Ualikhanov Kokshetau University
On February 24, 2025, our university was honored to welcome the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to the Republic of Kazakhstan, His Excellency Mr. Mohamad Fadjroel Rachman.
During the meeting with the university administration, discussions focused on prospects for bilateral cooperation in education and science. Particular attention was given to academic mobility for students and faculty, engagement of international scholars, and exchange of experience in implementing educational and research projects.
Mr. Ambassador also met with students of the School of Medicine, the Agrotechnical Institute, and the Pedagogical Institute. The meeting was conducted in English. Students enjoyed a cultural program featuring Indonesian dance performances. Mr. Rachman shared insights into the bilateral cooperation between Kazakhstan and Indonesia, economic partnership opportunities, and the construction of Indonesia’s new capital, Nusantara, which has become a sister city to Astana.
Shokan Ualikhanov Kokshetau University is open to collaboration with Indonesian students and scholars, committed to fostering academic ties and inviting leading experts from Indonesia.
