"DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION OF EDUCATION: LEARNING FOR A NEW WORLD"
Heads of the structural subdivision of the Kokshetau University named after Sh. Ualikhanov, Head of the Department of Psychology and Pedagogy Lepeshev Vladimir Dmitrievich, head of the center for planning educational and methodological work Ergalieva Galiya Manasovna, head of the Department of International Cooperation Sharipova Aizhan Seilkhanovna and digital officer of full-time distance learning were trained at the International Summer School Almaty Management University.
Digital learning and digital transformation is one of the most relevant and important aspects for modern and high-quality education. The summer school program from Almaty Management University was dedicated to the digitalization of education and included the following modules such as “Education in the Metaverse” so-called virtual projects that will change educational methods, improving the quality of education and opening up new opportunities for self-development. “Digital Transformation of the University” the use of technology to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of teaching and learning, as technology is central to improving the student experience, supporting student progress and improving the quality of teaching and learning methods.
"VR training and education” the introduction of virtual space in the field of education and the use of virtual online tools in the education of the future.
Also, the trainers from AlmaU shared their life hacks, and described what a “Digital Teacher recruitment” should be in the modern education system, enlightened in the concept of personal branding, the technology of creating a personal brand and support for the promotion of their specialization through social networks. The use of “Artificial Intelligence”, “Chat GPT in education” and their pros and cons were also discussed at the master classes. “The use of social networks and mobile technologies in education” and “Hybrid Education format”, which involves combining digital technology tools in parallel with full-time and online learning formats, as well as pedagogical design and infrastructure of modern classrooms for transition and transformation into a hybrid type of learning.
In addition, the AlmaU school held events in order to educate and get acquainted with the local cultural centers of northern Kazakhstan, visit the Sh Museum.Ualikhanov in the village of Syrymbet, as well as the "Aiganym estate" and the elevation to the Ayyrtau mountain.
